Creative Internship

Hirons’ Creative internship is for students with strong conceptual graphic design and extreme attention to detail. To be considered, applicants must be a current sophomore, junior, senior, master’s student or recent graduate in good academic standing.

Preferred majors include: Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Animation, Visual Communication and Advertising.

This is a paid position; the ideal candidate has availability of 20 hours per week. Applications will close Friday, April 7.

Responsibilities:

  • Passionate about conceptual graphic design
  • Working experience in creating advertising, print and web designs
  • A total team player
  • Extreme attention to detail in work quality
  • Well-organized and able to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding and appreciation of graphic design, color theory, typography and layout
  • Ability to take constructive criticism and implement creative direction

Demonstrated ability in industry and print technology including:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Lightroom
  • WordPress, Sketch, Google Web Designer, and basic understanding of HTML and CSS
  • MacOS software programs
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Pantone Color Matching System
