Hirons names new vice president

Agency thrilled to name Kurt Ashburn as vice president


Hirons, a WBENC-certified advertising, public relations and digital agency with offices in Indianapolis and Chicago, names Kurt Ashburn as vice president.

Ashburn has been a treasured member of the Hirons team for five years, serving most recently as senior account director in the communications management department. His client expertise lies in public affairs and state government, and his oversight has helped Hirons to expand its position as the preferred agency for government organizations and other clients across multiple sectors.

In his new role, Ashburn will continue to work with agency executives to lead Hirons to consistently outthink, outwork and outperform on behalf of clients. His support of the agency’s communications and development efforts will ensure the agency’s continued growth.

Outside of Hirons, Ashburn is an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University’s Media School, educating the next generation of strategic communicators through the senior-level Brand Strategy and Media Management course.

Ashburn earned his degree in communications from Indiana University in Bloomington and has spent more than three decades in the public relations and advertising industry helping Indianapolis-area agencies oversee branding and advertising campaigns for national-level clients.
