Great creative doesn’t just stand out – it delivers results.
At this year’s American Advertising Awards, Hirons earned multiple honors, including two best of show awards, recognizing standout creative work developed for multiple clients in various industries.
On Saturday, Feb. 28, members of the Hirons team joined fellow creatives for the first tier of the ADDYs’ three-stage national competition. The event celebrates excellence in advertising and creative work at the highest level.

By the end of the evening, Hirons earned six awards, including:
- Two best-of-show awards, recognizing standout work in advertising and animation
- Two gold ADDYs for an AskRose Homework Help TV spot
- One silver ADDY for Hoosier Energy cinematography
- One bronze ADDY for Hoosier Energy photography
We brought home two gold ADDYs and two best-of-show honors (advertising and animation) for our AskRose Homework Help streaming spot. The animated video encourages students to use their brains, backed by real, human help, over relying on AI. Best of all, it shines a spotlight on AskRose, a free tutoring service supporting students through high school. Huge thanks to our partners at Devon House Creative who helped bring this idea from concept to screen, and congratulations to the AskRose team on well-deserved recognition.
Our Hoosier Energy Custom Creative Systemwide Campaign was recognized with a silver ADDY award for cinematography and a bronze ADDY award for photography. In partnership with Hoosier Energy, our team created this campaign to boost awareness of rural electric membership cooperatives (REMCs) and highlight their benefits to consumers in targeted areas. A huge thank you to Andy Lake and Steven “Lefty” Lefkovitz of FME Studios, Greg Whitaker of Greg Whitaker Photography, and everyone who helped turn these ideas from mere concepts into compelling visuals.

In a competition that attracts more than 25,000 entries annually, these wins reflect not only strong creative ideas but work that rises above in an increasingly competitive industry.
Creative That Resonates
Each project submitted this year reflects Hirons’ approach to creative content, combining strategic thinking with storytelling that resonates. From the clear, encouraging message behind the AskRose Homework Help campaign to the cinematic visuals crafted for Hoosier Energy, the work demonstrates how thoughtful creative can connect with audiences and deliver meaningful results.
Recognizing Emerging Creative Talent
The celebration extended beyond our work with clients.
Two designers on Hirons’ creative team – Taylor Rector and Charlotte Pollock – were part of Ball State University (BSU) student teams that earned awards of their own.
Both BSU graduates, Taylor’s team received two silver ADDYs, and Charlotte’s team also took home two student awards. Their success underscores the depth of talent shaping the future of the advertising industry in Indiana.
On to the Regional Competition

With local wins secured, Hirons now advances to the regional stage, at which gold ADDY winners from Indiana, Michigan and Illinois will compete for a chance to move to the national competition. The 2026 National Awards Gala will take place in Austin, Texas, bringing together top creative work from across the country.
Beyond the awards themselves, the American Advertising Federation supports the broader industry, funding education, internships, advocacy, public service initiatives and consumer awareness programs that strengthen advertising as a whole.
