Hirons, a full-service marketing and communications consulting agency providing advertising, public relations and digital services, has promoted Holly Havener to senior director, operations and chief editor.
With more than 20 years in the industry and having experience in a variety of functions, Havener brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role. She joined Hirons in July 2019 and has worked in operations, project management, and writing and editing capacities.
“Holly has been instrumental in the operations of Hirons for more than five years and is a valued and trusted member of the team,” said Leigh-Ann Richardville, vice president of operations at Hirons. “She works behind the scenes, ensuring the agency runs smoothly while improving and enhancing our internal processes. She has a keen eye for detail and recently stepped up to provide quality control support across the agency. Holly is someone everyone can turn to with questions, and her commitment to excellence is only outmatched by her positive and kind spirit.”
Havener earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. While there, she was able to hone her writing and editing skills, which she puts to good use at Hirons. She is a self-professed “word nerd.”
“I’m so happy to be a part of Hirons’ operations team! In my role, I’m able to welcome our wonderful, talented team members as they start with Hirons, which I love; help come up with new and efficient ways to do things; and put my editing and writing skills to good use,” Havener shares. “I’m so proud of the folks we have here and the great work we do for our clients.”
In her free time, Havener enjoys crafting, baking and pop culture, as well as spending time with her friends and family.
Since its founding, Hirons has been known for several specialty areas of focus including business-to-business, crisis communications, government relations and a proprietary Rural Reach program.
