WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER THE MOST IMPORTANT TOOLS OF THE TRADE?

I believe the most important tool of the trade is the desire to continuously expand your knowledge and learn from those around you. There is always something to be learned from others, and having a mindset that embraces this is an invaluable tool.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE, WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR HOBBIES OR PASSIONS?

Outside of the office some of my hobbies include working out and staying active, coaching cheerleading, and baking! I love to bake especially during the holidays.

WHEN AND WHERE DO YOU HAVE YOUR BEST IDEAS?

My best ideas usually come to me at night when I’m trying to fall asleep in bed and thinking about everything besides sleeping.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TIME OF DAY?

My favorite time of the day is dinner time with my family. At dinner, we go around and ask each other what was the high and low of our days.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST JOB?

My first job was at Dairy Queen at age 16!

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MOVIE OR BOOK?

My favorite movie is hands down Bridesmaids, it’s my favorite go to movie when I need a laugh!

WHAT’S AN ACCOMPLISHMENT YOU’RE PROUD OF, PERSONALLY OR PROFESSIONALLY?

One accomplishment I am particularly proud of is that I had my first child at a young age, 21. At that time, I chose to leave school and pursue a full-time job to support myself and my son. Over the years, I got married and expanded my family further. When I was 29, I decided to return to school to complete what I had started and seek a career more aligned with my goals. I earned my bachelor’s degree at 32, and I am proud of this achievement because my children got to see me overcome challenges and watch me walk across the stage at graduation.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN THREE WORDS.

If I had to describe myself in three words I would use: thoughtful, ambitious, and competitive.

WHAT’S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE VACATION?

My most memorable vacation was when I was 18 and went with my mom. She frequently enters sweepstakes and surprisingly wins quite a few. One of her wins was a trip to NYC, where we had the chance to visit the Teen Vogue office. We got to explore their PR closet, which was filled with makeup and skincare products, and we ended up filling four bags with goodies. Additionally, they covered our stay at a luxurious hotel right in Times Square!

WHAT’S ONE THING YOU EVERY DAY AND CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT?

One thing I can’t live without would be caffeine, in some form. I am a mom of four, so it’s needed for my busy schedule!
