HOW DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN THE INDUSTRY?
Growing up I mesmerized each year by the Super Bowl ads and when I saw advertising related classes in college, I knew that was my future.
HOW DID YOU BREAK INTO THE INDUSTRY AND LAND YOUR FIRST JOB?
I had a friend who was doing his summer internship at Hirons and told me I should also apply. I applied, got the internship which led to me getting brought on full time as a media Coordinator once I graduated.
WHAT PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE INDUSTRY?
Curiosity is a key characteristic as those who rely on their current knowledge are left behind.
WHAT’S ONE IMPORTANT TIP YOU WOULD SHARE WITH ANYONE LOOKING TO GO INTO THE AGENCY WORLD?
Building and maintaining positive relationships will pay dividends in the long run. The agency world is much smaller than you think!
DID YOU HAVE ANY UNUSUAL JOBS BEFORE WORKING AT HIRONS?
I worked in lawncare and maintenance at a Monastery for 30 Nuns!
