Hirons names Jim Parham CEO

Hirons, an Indianapolis-based advertising, public relations and digital agency, promotes Jim Parham to chief executive officer while Tom Hirons will move to a chairmanship role.

INDIANAPOLIS

Parham specializes in crisis communications and environmental expertise for a wide array of clients. Both his undergraduate and graduate degrees are in environmental sciences, journalism and public affairs. For more than 33 years, he has provided innovative and effective strategies and tactics to both public and private sector clients seeking solutions to communication problems.

“When it comes to advertising and marketing in Indiana, there are no bigger shoes to fill,” said Parham. “Tom’s legacy in this industry will always be remembered, and our charge is to build on that foundation for even greater success and growth moving forward.”

Parham also was an adjunct lecturer in The Media School, teaching public relations writing, public relations campaigns and crisis management.

With the transfer of Hirons’ ownership to employees now fully complete, Hirons says this is the perfect time to delegate greater responsibility to Hirons’ employee-owners.

“I’ve been preparing for this transition for quite some time,” Tom Hirons said. “Given the seasoned leadership and immense talent at the agency, our company is poised for a tremendous future.”
