Kim is a highly accomplished leader in financial management with more than 25 years of experience and a track record built on delivering exceptional results in deadline-driven environments. As controller, her day-to-day responsibilities at Hirons include formulating tax and budget plans and overseeing all operations necessary to maintaining the agency’s financial health.

Most recently, Kim served as controller at a national eyewear company. Her experience also includes posts at several firms in Indiana and Tennessee specializing in retail, medical, public accounting and financial services.

Kim received her B.S. in financial counseling from Purdue University. In 2001, she earned her license to work as a certified public accountant in Indiana.

“Hirons, an advertising, public relations and digital agency with offices in Indianapolis and Chicago, has hired Kimberly Short as controller. Ann Kneifel, chief financial officer, will continue to serve on Hirons’ board of directors.

Short is a highly accomplished leader in financial management, with more than 25 years of experience and a track record of delivering exceptional results in deadline-driven environments. Most recently, Short served as controller at a national eyewear company. She will manage all financial functions at Hirons and serve on the executive management team. She was recently elected treasurer of the board.”
