¿CÓMO TE INTERESÓ EN LA INDUSTRIA?

I got the chance to run campaigns for events in college and it showed me that I really enjoyed have to learn quickly and solve problems on the fly. That was when I decided it was the path I wanted to take.

HOW DID YOU BREAK INTO THE INDUSTRY AND LAND YOUR FIRST JOB?

In college I went around to local businesses and asked to help them with their marketing so I could gain practical experience. This allowed me to get some on the job experience and a portfolio that I used to get 2 internships that helped me get my first job working for a sustainability focused company coming out of college.

¿CUÁL ES TU HORA FAVORITA DEL DÍA?

I am a big night owl so anytime at night.

Ambrosia or Bluebeard, both are fantastic.

WHAT PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE INDUSTRY?

Adaptability and a willingness to learn. I would also say being an active and sincere listener is a huge skill to have.

¿CUÁNDO Y DÓNDE TIENES TUS MEJORES IDEAS?

Usually when I think about something very deeply and then talk a break, an idea will present itself when I am least expecting it, usually while taking a walk or being outdoors.

¿CUÁL FUE SU PRIMER TRABAJO?

My first job was at a hardware store in high school. It taught me lessons about people, customers, and sales that I still use to this day.

¿TIENES UNA PELÍCULA O UN LIBRO FAVORITO?

Any book by John Steinbeck.

¿CUÁL ES TU PARTE FAVORITA DE TRABAJAR EN HIRONS?

So far in my time here I have already gotten to work with so many talented and knowledgeable people. There are a lot of people here to learn from if you are willing to ask questions and allow yourself to be curious.
