Senior Media Professional

Job Description

As a senior media professional, you will work on multiple accounts and guide, develop and mentor media team members. You will have demonstrated expertise in traditional advertising and all paid digital channels.  Your work will create touch points that are timely and persuasive.

Your depth of media experience with all channels, in both B2B and B2C markets, means you know it’s all about staying on top of trends to develop highly targeted, relevant media.

You inspire others with your enthusiastic style; the media team sees you as a teacher and collaborator.

Reports to the Media Director

Required Experience

  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in media strategy, buying and planning across all channels.
  • You have had direct reports in the past.
  • You’re digitally fluent but also an expert in all channels; broadcast, print, social and SEO/SEM.
  • You’re an engaging presenter and communicator. You’re a leader and a team player and can build relationships quickly.

Requisite Skills

Mastery of principles of media strategy, planning and buying.  Experience with post-buy analysis, media metrics and business analysis including sales analysis and performance analysis (cost per lead, cost per acquisition, and linking media activity to response.)

Experience with most of the following languages/technologies is required:

  • Nielsen Audio
  • Nielsen Television
  • Strata
  • Scarborough; Prime Lingo
  • SQAD
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics Certified
  • Demonstrated experience with digital programmatic
  • Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
