Paid Digital Specialist

Job Description

The Paid Digital Specialist is responsible for digital media planning, strategy and management. Paid Digital Specialists are exposed to the research, planning, management and optimization of social media advertising, paid search, display, video, audio and native. These activities can lead to accreditation in various areas of digital media marketing, which will create the opportunity to build growth paths within Hirons.

This position supports day-to-day activities of digital media campaigns and executes all duties relevant to digital media strategy, research, planning, buying and specs & deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develops digital strategy and conducts research regarding digital media budget allocation and target audience identification
  • Implements campaigns demonstrating a high understanding of digital advertising best practices and functionality
  • Develops paid search campaigns within Google Adwords and Bing
  • Implements display, audio, and video campaigns utilizing demand selling platforms including Google Display Network, The Trade Desk, and Simpli.fi
  • Optimize digital campaigns to perform above industry standards and to spend the budget efficiently within the campaign duration
  • Implements A/B and multivariate testing for campaign optimizations
  • Manages work within established timelines
  • Creates project plans and schedules as directed
  • Prepares and report campaign metrics and optimization information
  • Work closely with the Senior Digital Strategist in the preparation of audience targeting, estimates, campaign schedules, budgets and other project management requirements
  • Coordinates the trafficking of digital media creative assets between departments, mediums, and technology providers
  • Works closely with Digital Analytics Specialist to facilitate reports and optimizations
  • Assist in the identification and qualification of digital media vendors for client strategies
  • Maintain relevant certifications to demonstrate a high level of understanding relating to campaign management, digital strategy, targeting functionality, conversion tracking and remain up-to-date on the latest best practices and product features

  • 3 years agency experience or related industry
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, media, advertising, marketing or a related field
  • Communications skills with experience in delivering customer service satisfaction.
  • Be an avid digital media consumer and exhibit a wide degree of creativity and independence
  • Strong interest in working within a diverse and technological environment; comfortable learning new skills and technologies.
  • The ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, team environment
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal communications, active listening, presentation skills, excellent written grammar and spelling.  Diligent note taking capabilities.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
  • A team player who is passionate about their contribution and collaboration that results in great work.

Experience with most of the following languages/technologies is preferable but not required:

  • Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Google Products including Google Drive, Sheets and Docs

  • Google Tag Manager
  • Bing Search
  • Facebook Business Manager
  • Various DSPs for Programmatic Ad Campaigns including TheTradeDesk & Simpli.fi
