Hirons Adds to Public Affairs Team
Kurt Ashburn brings two decades of experience to area firm.

INDIANAPOLIS
Indianapolis-based Hirons has hired Kurt Ashburn as account director to the public affairs team. He comes to Hirons with 23 years of account services experience for a variety of brands, including Ivy Tech, Maytag Commercial Laundry, Delta Faucet Company, Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana and Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. Ashburn oversees client accounts and devises and implements strategic communication plans for clients, while ensuring the public affairs team stays on target to meet client goals. He also is responsible for maintaining client relationships and building new ones through public outreach and community relations.
Ashburn earned a degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., before launching his career in marketing and advertising. He has held multiple roles at Indianapolis-area agencies, overseeing branding and advertising campaigns for national clients.
