HOW DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN THE INDUSTRY?
I became interested in the industry from hearing an employee at Hirons come to Butler University to talk about their agency experiences in my advertising class. Connections are everything!
WHAT PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE INDUSTRY?
I think adaptability and accountability are characteristics you need to be successful in this Industry. I also think having a positive attitude will help you not only in this industry, but in any industry.
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE, WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR HOBBIES OR PASSIONS?
Some passions that I have outside of the office are reading, hiking and exploring new restaurants in Indy (I’ve found some good ones!)
WHEN AND WHERE DO YOU HAVE YOUR BEST IDEAS?
I usually get my best ideas when I’m outside on walks/runs. The fresh air and being in nature are always refreshing when you need to brainstorm.
WHAT IS THE MOST MEANINGFUL PART OF YOUR JOB?
The most meaningful part of my job is knowing that I am making a difference in someone’s life. Being able to see where a project started and then seeing it displayed on advertisements in my daily life is something that will always amaze me.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN TOWN?
My favorite restaurant in town is the Eagle. They have the best sweet potato crock, and their fried chicken is to die for!
DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN THREE WORDS.
Three words I would use to describe myself are positive, hardworking, and passionate.
WHAT’S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE VACATION?
My most memorable vacation is when I went to Italy with my family a few summers ago. I took Latin in high school so being able to see all the historic landmarks that I learned about in class was really cool!
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MOVIE OR BOOK?
My favorite book is Agatha Christies “And Then There Were None”. I am a HUGE mystery fan!
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WORKING AT HIRONS?
My favorite part about working at Hirons is the positive work atmosphere. Everyone is so supportive, and I notice that people go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. I think that the group of amazing people (and dogs!) at Hirons is very special.
