WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER THE MOST IMPORTANT TOOLS OF THE TRADE?
It’s important to have thick skin and to be open to constructive criticism. Most of the time your first idea is not the best, so being open-minded allows you to see from others’ perspectives and eventually lead you to the best solution.
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE, WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR HOBBIES OR PASSIONS?
I enjoy shooting and editing film photography. The surprise factor of not knowing whether a picture is going to turn out the way you envisioned or not can be one of the most rewarding or disappointing feelings ever.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TIME OF DAY?
Any time I get to spend time with family and friends.
WHEN AND WHERE DO YOU HAVE YOUR BEST IDEAS?
I tend to get my best ideas creatively from other artists, whether they are musicians, photographers or illustrators.
WHAT’S ONE IMPORTANT TIP YOU WOULD SHARE WITH ANYONE LOOKING TO GO INTO THE AGENCY WORLD?
Always approach the day with a positive mindset. If you are ambitious and driven, you can achieve anything.
DID YOU HAVE ANY UNUSUAL JOBS BEFORE WORKING AT HIRONS?
My very first job, I worked as a landscaper for Meridian Hills Country Club. I remember waking up every morning at 6 a.m. to mow the entire golf course. Some days, I would rake the sand bunker, carry logs and pull out weeds.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN TOWN?
My favorite restaurant would have to be this steakhouse called Bynum’s. Their steaks are top-notch, and the setting is perfect. It’s a little pricey but is worth every penny!
WHAT’S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE VACATION?
In the summer of 2020, I stayed in the Philippines for a whole month. During the trip, my favorite memories involved island-hopping, karaoke singing and scuba diving with whale sharks. Also, the food there was phenomenal!
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MOVIE OR BOOK?
Greek mythology has always been a topic of interest. Growing up, my favorite series to read was Percy Jackson & the Olympians. My favorite childhood movies are Brother Bear and The Land Before Time!
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WORKING AT HIRONS?
My favorite part of working at Hirons is playing with Pam’s dog, Finn. He always brightens up my day!
