Get to know our junior media analyst, Laura Ludy.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE, WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR HOBBIES?
Weather permitting, I enjoy kayaking and canoeing. I feel at ease out on the water as a former New Englander.
WHEN AND WHERE DO YOU HAVE YOUR BEST IDEAS?
Some of my best ideas have been “shower thoughts.” Relaxing routines give my mind space to be creative.
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST JOB?
My first job was working as a page for my local library. I sorted and shelved many books during my years there, so I can partly thank the Dewey Decimal Classification for my focus on fine details.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TIME OF DAY?
Dawn is when I feel the most energized to seize the day… Coffee helps, too.
WHAT’S AN ACCOMPLISHMENT YOU’RE PROUD OF, PERSONALLY OR PROFESSIONALLY?
I was recently promoted to a junior media analyst position. I have learned a lot during my time here so far, and I appreciate that Hirons rewards growth.
DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN THREE WORDS.
Honest, curious, and versatile.
WHAT’S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE VACATION?
San Francisco holds a special place in my heart. I loved the balmy weather, picture-perfect beaches and delicious cuisine. Ghirardelli Square is a chocolate lover’s dream!
WHAT’S ONE THING YOU DO EVERY DAY?
One thing I do every day is laugh. Comedy-driven shows and podcasts help me relax.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MOVIE, MUSICAL OR BOOK?
My latest favorite musical is Hamilton. The well-crafted writing, soundtrack, performances and intricate choreography amazed me.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT WORKING AT HIRONS?
The snacks. Just kidding. Even while working remotely, the team camaraderie is strong.
