Get to know our account coordinator, Bailee Renfro.

HOW DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN THE INDUSTRY?
In college, all I knew was I liked to write, talk and help people. When I learned about the public relations industry, it seemed like the perfect way to pursue my interest in media and serve as a trusted and dedicated partner to my clients. Win-win!
WHAT PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE INDUSTRY?
To be successful in this industry you must be patient, flexible, versatile and able to strike up a conversation with anyone at any time. We have to be the ultimate communicators!
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE, WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR HOBBIES OR PASSIONS?
I am a true crime junkie! I love TV shows, movies, books and podcasts that go beyond the crime and discuss the investigations and trials, and the psyche of the perpetrators. I find it so fascinating!
WHAT’S ONE IMPORTANT TIP YOU WOULD SHARE WITH ANYONE LOOKING TO GO INTO THE AGENCY WORLD?
Talk to anyone and everyone who will talk to you! Utilize LinkedIn and reach out to people at organizations you are interested in and ask to connect for an informational interview – they will almost always say yes, and these are excellent opportunities to put yourself on their radar and develop professional relationships that could last your entire career. Low stakes, astronomical rewards.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TIME OF DAY?
Mornings! Whenever I can actually wake up for them. 😊
WHAT IS THE MOST MEANINGFUL PART OF YOUR JOB?
Making my clients’ lives easier – whenever a client says “WOW,” that is the real magic moment.
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST JOB?
I was a waitress at a sit-down style Pizza Hut! If you need someone to manage a bottomless salad bar, then I’m your gal.
DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN THREE WORDS.
Vivacious, curious and compassionate
WHAT’S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE VACATION?
My family went sailing on Lake Michigan for 10 days when I was in High School, and I was seasick the entire time. Turns out I do not do well on sail boats!
WHAT’S ONE THING YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT?
My cat, Leo!
