Leigh-Ann is a finalist in the media, entertainment and sports category, representing the impact she makes at Hirons and within our community.<\/p>\n<p>Since joining the agency in 2015, Leigh-Ann has played a pivotal role in shaping Hirons\u2019 identity and driving our operational excellence. Her influence is woven into the very fabric of our firm, including her instrumental role in securing our certification as a Women\u2019s Business Enterprise in multiple states.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond her strategic influence, Leigh-Ann has been a champion of our internal culture by guiding our employee stock ownership plan committee, which empowers our team to take pride in shared ownership, and helping cultivate a vibrant environment in which people feel inspired to work and grow together.<\/p>\n<p>Leigh-Ann\u2019s leadership extends far beyond our office walls, including being a tireless advocate for the Indianapolis community, contributing her expertise to several nonprofit and professional organizations, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Broad Ripple Village Association:<\/strong> Recently completed a three-year term on the board of directors, serving as board secretary<\/li>\n<li><strong>Downtown Indy Alliance:<\/strong> Currently serves on the marketing board<\/li>\n<li><strong>Indy Chamber and Central Indiana Women\u2019s Business Center:<\/strong> Spearheaded Hirons\u2019 sponsorship of the Women in Business event series to support women entrepreneurs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dress for Success:<\/strong> Forged a partnership between Hirons and the organization to support women achieving economic independence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This recognition as a Best and Brightest finalist comes on the heels of Leigh-Ann being named a 2025 Young Alumna Award recipient by the School of Journalism and Strategic Communication at Ball State University. But here at Hirons, October marks something even more special \u2014 <strong>National Employee Ownership Month<\/strong>.<\/p><p>A 2021 study by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nceo.org\/research\/research-findings-on-employee-ownership#:~:text=This%202020%20study%20found%20that,Download%20the%20report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Center for Employee Ownership<\/a> (NCEO) found that ESOP participants have about twice the value in their ESOP accounts as their counterparts have in their 401(k) accounts. Furthermore, nearly 100% of the total contributions to ESOP accounts came from the employer compared to only about 31% for 401(k) accounts.<\/p><p>When founder Tom Hirons set out to transition Hirons to an\u00a0<a href=\"\/es\/who-we-are\/esop\/\">employee stock ownership plan (ESOP)<\/a>, it wasn\u2019t simply a financial decision. It was a way to make sure the company\u2019s future belonged to all employee-owners.<\/p><p>In 2010, Tom sold 30% of his ownership shares to establish our ESOP, and by 2018, Hirons was 100% employee-owned.<\/p><p>For our employee-owners, ownership isn\u2019t just about shares or numbers. I attribute a big part of that to our decision to become an employee-owned company through an ESOP. They represent over 1,500 Women\u2019s Business Enterprise National Council women\u2019s business enterprises and provide access to capital, corporate procurement opportunities, certification for women-owned business enterprises and small business educational support. With a mission to connect, empower and advocate for business owners, Great Lakes WBC created the event to address one of today\u2019s most urgent topics for business owners: AI.<\/p><p>According to the Indiana Marketing and AI Survey sent to attendees, most respondents had little to no formal AI training despite more than half using some form of AI on a weekly if not daily basis. The top concerns highlighted were security risks and potential for inaccuracies, followed closely by a lack of time to learn and implement AI tools. functions, Havener brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role. She joined Hirons in July 2019 and has worked in operations, project management, and writing and editing capacities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHolly has been instrumental in the operations of Hirons for more than five years and is a valued and trusted member of the team,\u201d said Leigh-Ann Richardville, vice president of operations at Hirons. \u201cShe works behind the scenes, ensuring the agency runs smoothly while improving and enhancing our internal processes. She has a keen eye for detail and recently stepped up to provide quality control support across the agency. Holly is someone everyone can turn to with questions, and her commitment to excellence is only outmatched by her positive and kind spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Havener earned her bachelor\u2019s degree in English from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. While there, she was able to hone her writing and editing skills, which she puts to good use at Hirons. Confirm sourced data is being gathered with user consent. Certain AI programs have acquired data without informed consent, which can lead to similarity of content and intellectual property infringement.<\/p><p>After choosing a trustworthy LLM or platform, determine a process to confirm all information input into the AI model abides by the necessary rights, licenses and permissions. Content can be used for training purposes, which poses the risk of unauthorized derivative works or the accidental sharing of trade secrets or other confidential information.
