Marketing Specialist

Hirons’ operations team is responsible for executing the day-to-day business of the agency, ensuring all non-billable work gets done. Our work includes everything from amplifying our brand to telling the agency’s story internally and externally. We develop policies and processes to make it all happen, and we’re constantly challenging the status quo to find more efficient ways to accomplish the work, all while never missing a step in meeting the demands of a fastpaced agency.

The person in this role is responsible for the caretaking and promotion of the Hirons brand and helping us tell our story to all audiences internally and externally.


  • Manage all agency marketing activities for internal and external audiences in collaboration with the vice president of operations and Hirons promotions team
  • Manage promotional strategy for the agency, including content development
  • Assist with updates and maintenance of Hirons.com
  • Assist with the development of branded materials
  • Assist with internal communications for the agency
  • Oversee and assist with internal and external event planning as needed
  • Organize and develop a cadence for internal and external agency trainings
  • Assist with annual strategic planning process
  • Act as management team’s support for Hirons’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council (DEI Council) initiatives
  • Serve as QC backup as needed
  • Attend 1:1 status meetings with direct supervisor
  • Other projects/responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, journalism or a related field
  • Minimum one years’ experience in advertising, public relations, communications or a related field
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of advertising/public relations/digital industries and client service
  • Understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms
  • Motivated, organized and detail-oriented attitude
  • Ability to handle all work in an ethical and courteous manner
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Demonstration of professional maturity both in and out of the office
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign preferred
  • Proficiency with Workamajig project management software (within first 60 days)
