Digital Designer

We are looking for a talented and versatile digital designer to join our team and help us enhance our clients’ brands through captivating and engaging design. The digital designer will be responsible for the design and creation of assets for projects utilizing digital platforms. They would also be responsible for collaborating with our digital and media departments to focus on the design of the user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) on various digital platforms, such as websites, digital advertising, email marketing, social media and animation assets. The candidate should have a passion for delivering creative, adaptive solutions. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can effectively collaborate with various teams to produce visually appealing and cohesive content across all platforms.


  • Design digital interfaces such as websites, digital advertising, email and social media based on knowledge of wireframes, site maps and digital design concepts. Create user-centric content layouts, offering strategic suggestions for design.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, XD, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) to create graphics, layouts, and other visual elements for digital media
  • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries
  • Assist in creating and editing multimedia content to support digital marketing initiatives including videos, GIFs and animations
  • Optimize visual content for Search Engine Optimization
  • Conduct research and stay up to date with best practice trends to improve the user experience across digital platforms
  • Collaborate with team members and developers for seamless design implementation
  • Develop digital brand guidelines to maintain a consistent image across digital platforms
  • Attend 1:1 status meetings with direct supervisor
  • Participate in Hirons strategic plan work group or affinity team
  • Other projects/responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, multimedia design, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum three years’ experience in graphic design, with an emphasis on digital
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, XD, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices to create UX/UI-focused interfaces for websites, social media, email templates, infographics, ads and videos
  • Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven creative design skills including typography and content hierarchy in digital design
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and channels, including social media, websites, and email marketing
  • Proficiency in Figma, Miro and Sketch is preferred
  • Proficiency in digital animation is preferred
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web design principles is preferred
  • Knowledge of WordPress and other content management systems is preferred
  • Skills in videography and photography including production and post-production for use in campaigns is preferred
