The Indianapolis Zoo, located in White River State Park, is an integral tourism attraction in Indianapolis and the state. Hirons has worked with the Zoo since 2006 to develop creative advertising for every new exhibit. The goal of each campaign has been to increase attendance over the previous year’s numbers.


Since 2006, Hirons has developed and executed creative campaigns for a key Zoo attraction each year. Starting with “The Oceans” and through “Cheetah: The Race for Survival” and “Tiger Forest” among others, Hirons’ advertising and marketing teams were able to increase visitor traffic year over year. In 2014, Hirons continued its streak with the Zoo’s new orangutan exhibit, which was a considerable achievement considering the Zoo had also rolled out a new dynamic pricing model, which encouraged visitors to go the website and buy tickets online to guarantee best prices.
